The 29th EICF International Conference and Exhibition was held in Porto between 22nd and 25th April 2018. The conference was highly successful with 316 attendees, 270 delegates, 36 exhibition booths and 48 speakers.

Phil Hancock, Technical Manager Blayson, gave a presentation titled Innovative Wax Design to Meet the Challenges Within the Investment Casting Industry. This presentation covered wax dimensional variability, dewaxing aspects, wax fluidity properties and explained thoughts on further wax research.

Ron Williams gave the World Investment Casting Market Review presentation explaining the latest World data available regarding market statistics. This presentation formed part of a Market Session within the conference and individual presentations were made covering data for Europe, North America, Japan, Korea, Taiwan and China.
