September 2021
In September 2021, Blayson celebrated its 60 Year Anniversary, moving from those early days to becoming a leading manufacturer and supplier of investment casting wax worldwide. Blayson has wax manufacturing units in Cambridge, UK and in Chiba, Japan, and is supported by an excellent team of representatives throughout the World. This, coupled with a great understanding of wax technology, has led to Blayson becoming a truly global player in the investment casting industry. The company continues to play an active role in leading associations and institutes around the World and with its ethos to promote the industry globally, Blayson has a true understanding of the investment casting industry. Despite Covid uncertainties, the company were able to mark this milestone occasion with staff and some guests at their Cambridge facility.
Ron Williams, Chairman of The Blayson Group Limited, gave a few words thanking all employees past and present for their efforts and contributions to the company over the years. He also thanked suppliers for their important role in supporting the company and of course thanked customers for their continued confidence in the company’s products and services. It was unfortunate that due to Covid regulations and limitations, it was not possible to extend the invitation to many of these valued customers.
Marc Green, Financial Advisor to Blayson commented, “I enjoyed the event and would like to say that I have always considered Blayson as my best client and one I use as a shining example to many of my other clients in terms of how the company is run and performs both in good times and bad.”
Jim Stephenson of Eco-Point Laboratories congratulated all at Blayson in celebrating their 60th Anniversary, describing it as a tremendous achievement in a technologically demanding industry. He added, “Eco-Point are proud to have partnered Blayson for the past 25 years. This period has seen major developments in the investment casting industry, and we hope to continue adding value and support with Blayson in the years to come.”
Karen Cash from the Cambridgeshire Chambers of Commerce said, “It was a privilege to be invited to the Blayson 60th Anniversary event. For us as a Chamber, we have worked with Blayson for many years, and it was really interesting to hear of the company’s triumphs and challenges over the last few decades that have enabled them to become the business that they are today.”
The past 18 months have been difficult for many companies, however we are looking forward to a brighter future for the industry. Blayson will play a key role in contributing to this as we begin to emerge from the pandemic and move forward to another chapter in the history of Blayson and the investment casting industry.
