The 8th ISIC was held at the Garden Villa Hotel Kaohsiung, Taiwan and was hosted by the Taiwan Foundry Society (TFS) and the Japan Foundry Society (JFS).  This International Conference is regarded as the main investment casting conference in Asia and this was the first time it has been held in Taiwan.

Since its inception in 1999, ISIC has taken place biannually and has served as the premier conference for Asia’s developing investment casting industry.  Asia currently accounts for 35% of global investment casting sales.

Over 200 delegates from all parts of the world, including Europe, USA, Japan, Taiwan, China, South Korea and Thailand attended the event and the Seminar was most successful.

Blayson were both exhibiting and presenting with papers covering a World Market Review, a Review of the North American and European Markets and a technical paper outlining the Characteristics and Control of Investment Casting Wax.  The papers are available from the Downloads area.
